A huge thanks to Hometown Water & B2 Trenching for giving every student free popcorn this week and having their staff volunteer as our "Poppin Pops." We truly appreciate your fantastic support as a community partner!

If you are moving to a new town/school or have moved already please check in with your new school BEFORE school starts so we can get records sent off quickly . It gets really busy after August 1st and these transfers may take several days to process then, which often delays your child’s admission into the new school.

Mrs. Osmanski is attending First Grade Foundations this week! First Grade Foundations (FGF) is a Structured Literacy training program that provides first grade teachers a multisensory scripted reading curriculum that meets the needs of a variety of students, from reading-disabled to gifted.
First Grade Foundations features instruction in phonological awareness, phonics, oral reading fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, grammar, handwriting, and spelling. FGF allows teachers to be prepared for any student reading level with pre-literacy techniques and a comprehensive, balanced approach to the basics of language arts. Mrs. Osmanski joins Mrs. Robinson, who previously trained in First Grade Foundations ready to offer our 1st Graders STRONG foundational reading instruction.

Janay Riley the new FCCLA teacher is attending the New Teacher Academy.
Ginger Seibold was one of the guest speakers at the New Teacher Academy. Ginger is the mother of one of our great Sallie Gillentine teachers Kyanne Robinson. Mrs. Seibold shared with with the group lots of great resources and information. Her presentation was with a hiking theme, she dressed the part and even provided 60+ attendees with sweet and savory treats!
