Day 3 of Professional Development was filled with door prizes, "family" photos, round table discussions-educator to educator and hustling to be ready for tomorrow.

First Baptist Church hosted lunch today. Brother Tim smoked tasty brisket and sausage served with delicious sides. His helpers from the youth department were the best! We felt appreciated and a little spoiled. Thank for caring so much First Baptist Church.

The long standing tradition and invitation for lunch on opening week hosted by Westview Boys Home is a Hollis Public Schools staff favorite. Thank you for your support and today's delicious meal. The party favors and beautifully set tables made us feel so special too.

Professional Development Hollis Public Schools Day 1 on campus.

Thank you again Kevin Wade for making today's professional development memorable.

This morning to kick things off, we thought we would add the magic touch by inviting a speaker that is also a magician to Hollis for our Keynote Address.
Kevin Wade has an extensive career in the field of education. He has been a school counselor and both a secondary and elementary school principal. In addition, he has been hired to provide entertainment and motivational speaking by many schools, civic organizations, churches and major corporations. Some of his clients include BASF, H&R Block, Pfizer Pharmaceutical, the Oklahoma Bar Association and 3M to name a few.
This fellow educator and magician brought us much to think about as we build relationships with students this year. The magic left us spellbound! Kevin Wade's intelligence, educational expertise, quick wit 🙈and fancy magic tricks 🎩🍐are the perfect combination.

Hollis Public Schools extends a heartfelt thank you to Cattlemens Bank. The delicious breakfast was a great way to start our first morning back on campus.
